After six months of opening michelleonbell I am proud to say I won my first award, the Liebster Award. I want to thank theoldfellowgoesrunning for nominating me and supporting my blog since the very beginning.
Following the rules for the award I must answer 11 questions theoldfellowgoesrunning sent me and give 11 random facts about myself, so here they are :
1. What possession do you prize the most? A pair of earrings that belonged to my great- grandmother.
2. Who was your favorite cartoon character? Cinderella, I remember watching the movie hundreds of times!
3. What is the earliest memory you can recall? Enjoying my childhood summers with my family in San Diego.
4. How did you come up with the name for your blog? My sister helped me choose the name. We decided to name it michelleonbell relating it to the concierge bell placed in the hotels front desk. I want my blog to be the go-to blog for people looking for travel and food tips.
5. What is the one food or beverage you could never give up? I love meat and its something I would never give up. I couldn’t imagine not eating a medium-well beef steak!
6. Which day of the week is your favourite, and why? Friday’s are my favorite day because it means the busy week has ended and I have the weekend to relax and have fun.
7. If somehow you could put money aside, what would be your dream career or job? Being a professional blogger, I love traveling around the world and eating. What would be better than doing that for a living!
8. What is your best blogging advice? In my opinion it’s extremely important to write unique and personalized posts. This way your blog shows your personality and perspective in life. Uniqueness is crucial especially now a days when there are so many blogs out there.
9. How do you like to spend your free time? I love to run, travel and enjoy an amazing meal. I love to discover new restaurants so I can write about them in the blog.
10. Which blog post are you most proud of? I would have to say the post on the 5 unique things to do in Mexico City. I love my city and think it’s extremely important to promote and share what your city has to offer.
11. Which is your favourite season? Summer is the best season by far! The weather is nice, it’s time for some vacation time and you get to enjoy yourself while traveling.

1. I have a big mole in my left arm
2. I used to bite my nails until my mom told me she wasn’t going to pay for manicure if I kept biting them
3. I have run two marathons with my dad
4. I have two nationalities (Mexican and German)
5. In four and a half years I lived in 6 cities ( Tel Aviv, Crans Montana Switzerland, Barcelona, Miami, New York and Chicago)
6. I was lucky to have met five out of eight great- grandparents and my four grandparents
7. I am afraid of cats
8. I have two younger sisters
9. My dad is an Ironman
10. My favorite city is New York
11. My favorite movie is The Intouchables
